R Howard is a manufacturing company which was formed in the late 1950’s by the current
managing Directors Grandparents. Allied to the printing trade, the company manufactures
folding boxboard printed cartons and packaging products to serve this market, as
well as being commercial printers.
A history in the industry provided the directors with the ability to offer a service
to this niche market. A reputation for quality and on-time delivery provided a firm
foundation for growth and the building of an established presence in the marketplace.
By the late 1960’s the company began to experience difficult trading conditions fuelled
by escalating overheads, so the decision was taken to re-locate the business; so
in 1971 the company moved to its current location in Wainfleeet, Lincolnshire. By
the 1980’s steady growth provided the capital to up-grade plant and machinery and
continued investment saw the construction of purpose built premises during 1992.
This ultimately increased warehousing space and upped manufacturing space by 2,000
square feet.
Today R Howard Ltd employ 18 staff in Production, Administration and Management
